How can i get out of a leadership camp? its been paid for but my mom can get refunded.?

The reason for me not wanting to go is because i have no chance at being a prefect(on leadership camp they choose prefects) as the school i attend i hav only been at for half a year. its only a weekend, but a weekend with people that dont really like me isnt my idea of fun please help me!!! i've tried and tried with my mom but she says i have to go because her best friends' brother is the vice-principle and he got me into the school. is there anything i can do.....?????

Tell your mom that you would love to go but that you have just dropped 4 caps of ACID and that you are still tripping, but perhaps the three tabs of ecstacy that you just took, will mellow you out enough not to give everyone there at the camp the impression that she is a bad Mother.

get sick, tell your mother you are feeling terrible, severe headaches, no doctor can ever disprove that some one has head aches, she can't let you go then.

Fake sickness the Thursday before. Then on the Friday take some diarrhea tablets. That should stop you from going.

I think you should go. It will probably be fun and a good experience. Most things I have attended in the past that I really didn't want to go to, tunred out fantastically, because I had low expectations. And who knows, maybe you will get to be a prefect anyway? You will never know until you try.

I suggest you go , although you feel that you wont become a prefect, you could still learn something , leadership skills are important , even if it doesnt help you now , it will definately come in handy later in life. It will even give you an oppertunity to interact with the other students outside of the school environment and who knows you might see a different side of each other and become friends with those who you currently dilike or dislikes you. Go , you will learn valuable skills and may even have some fun.
