  1. Maybe you can't, in which case, just filter and ignore.

OR...you could try OFFERING your membership as something you know longer want about six times a day, until you get removed.

Mine is a yahoo group and I would just go to "edit membership" and leave the group.

Not sure what kind of issues you have that you can't get out one your own.

  2. I've been told by a number of people that sending an email to the Unsubscribe box just doesn't work.

So, edit your membership like the other responder suggested. You can also email the moderators at the -owner address and ask them to help.

Keep in mind that it often takes Yahoo three or more days to process changes in membership. So you may have to be patient.

And - once in a while, we've encountered a weird Yahoo glitch. A person unsubscribes, is not listed in the members section, but keeps on getting emails. You need the moderators help in that case. There are two things that have worked in that case: (1) the moderator searches for a post you have made. When the moderator goes to that post, they can select "edit membership" and click "remove this member." If there aren't any posts, you may have to resubscribe and have the moderator remove you.

  3. http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups  Go there, click on the edit my groups tab.  When that screen opens, click Leave or Remove, not sure which, but just check the box, then click save changes, that's it, you're out of them.  If there's more than one page, then click Edit My Groups tab again and click on the boxes to the far right to Leave the groups.  Otherwise, at the bottom of all the posted emails, there is a link that says Unsubscribe, click on that and you'll get an email message back that says are you sure you want to unsubscribe, click reply and send.  Then you're done.  The easiest way is the first way... you can unsubscribe from more of them at once.  Although I would like to know why you would want to, hope it's not over the Sharon Baker urban legend email.  My email is ronalddebbie@aol.com if I can help you further
