Question:

How can i get over the fear of doing a backbend??

i try on the wall but I'm scared of falling on the ground and hitting my head. i try to do a normal backbend without the wall but my back just seems like it cant go any further what can i do to get more flexible what should i do? I'm starting gymnastics in 2 months and i wanna get over the fear of that

  1. you and always just try it but if your uncomfortable you can put pillows or something underneath your head... also you might try laying on your back with your hand by your ears fingers facing your toes and just pressing up into the back bend that is how i first learned min and to make your back more flexible once you get into the back bend try and walk your hands into your feet as far as they can go or walk your feet to your hands it doesnt make a diffrence =) hope you get it.


  2. do it on lots  and lots of pillows then if u fall it impossible to get hurt

    and to calm u down listen to ur fave music when ur doin it

  3. haa ive been doing gymnastics and i still cant do that.

    what i do is i stand on my bed and do the backbend, so if i fall i fall on my pillows.

    now i can do it! lol
