How can i get paid to travel?

I want a career that involves travel. but i dont want a job like a flight attendent where you go someplace and fly right back i want to have time to explore where ever it is im going and get paid for it.

Writing for a travel magazine might be good idea.  You might also want to consider photo journalism for a travel magazine.  Try contacting the travel channel, history channel, the animal planet channel, discovery planet channel.  They all have to do filming in overseas countries.  They need assistants for just about anything. It is a way to get your foot in the door.  I would also highly recommend that you think about how you are going to save on your travel which includes taking advantage of the numerous tax deductions that do not come with a regular job.  You should take advantage of any way you can put money into your bank account.  Getting your own travel website is something to seriously think about.  Don't count on the company that you work for to foot  all of your travel costs.
