How can i get people to people to know i am babysittng.?

I am 11 years old and i have my certificate for babysitting how much should a charge per/hour.

In my neighborhood, girls pass out fliers in mailboxes telling people that they passed their babysitting courses.  At 11, you could probably work as a mother's helper.  I used to call my 12 yr old neighbor to come over while I worked out in the basement.  Then she could watch my 4 month old.  Also, I'd have her watch the baby while I took the 3 yr old to a kiddy movie.  There are moms who can use your help.  Good luck!

put up flyers in places that people with kids go. like ice cream places and nursery schools. or ask your parents to tell people they know. word will spread.

as far as how much you should charge, usually parents would ask me how much i charge and i just tell them whatever they think is appropriate. a lot of parents have had other babysitters before and know what is good. im not sure about the currency in canada but depending on how many kids im sitting for, im happy with between 5 and 10 US dollars per hour. that will probably be going up soon though, because i'll be driving instead of having the parents pick me up. good luck =]
