How can i get people to sponsor me?

How do u get people to sponsor me??...i want to do a sky dive or parachute jump, and i dont want to go knocking on doors coz that can be annoyin . . . .

People won't just 'pay' for YOUR skydive!?  make it into a fundraiser! then youll also be doing a good thing!

You need to be raising awareness for something!.... Say your jumping out of a plane and any money raised will be donated to the red cros, cancer foundation, any good cause charity etc.... this way your not being selfish and trying to get something for free!

An you do actually have to donate the money you raise, not keep it because you can get accused of fraud! =)

by the sounds of it your 13? anyway you need to be 18+ to do them

Visit local business, ask your friends to ask at work/school, contact everyone you know, put up signs in the local shops/supermarkets etc... The charity you are raising money for might be able to get you posters/leaflets or have some ideas.  Firstly though set up a charity page on line:

hi i did a sponsored sky dive two months ago, do you have to raise a certain amount i did?

ask friends, family work colleagues i also used face book and set up an account at my local bank so people could sponsor me anonymously that way people could give with out feeling obliged to give a set amount!

i managed it in no time...

Set up your own website which people can visit.  Also make everyone aware put a poster up at work, even one in your front window.  Ask local shops and businesses if they'd be willing to put a form for you.  Ask the newsagents if they'd allow you to put a notice in their window!

Im doing a 50km cycle on Saturday for the Marie Curie nurses and so far ive raised over £500.I asked work collegues family and some neighbours for sponsorship and i have to say they were all very good.Dont worry about knocking on peoples doors if its for charity they wont mind giving.
