How can i get people to stop parking infront of my house?

Next to my house there was a autobody shop, but it went out of buisness so i'm guessing the owner sold it to church people and now my neighborhood parking is full of cars, these people park anywhere.!

Now I was told by a friend that is illegal to own a place like that and not

have parking. What can I do?

Contact the county Or city ask them if they can put a no parking sign in front of your house> But you now can't park there also>

You can contact the police department or the city manager but since the road is public there may not be nothing that you can do...

If these cars are parked on the street, there is nothing you can do about it unless the cars are abandoned.  The public streets belong to everyone, not just to the adjacent propery owner.

As far as the "type of busines" and parking requirements, that is a job for the local planning or zoning people to consider.  You can complain to them, to see about getting the "church" people to adhere to zoning laws, IF they even apply, in your neighborhood.

You should buy or make one of those No Parking sign May be Towed. And if the park there again call the police and have them send a tow truck.

Buy some yellow cones,and enough to cover the area to where they cannot slip through.

BUY THE PROPERTY ON THE STREET IN FRONT OF YOUR HOUSE OR NOTHING AT ALL.  Even the richest people usually can't own a part of a street.  So why does this bother you anyway?

Put a couple of fence posts right athe curb.  That's how I discourage people from driving around a speed bump and into my yard.

The street, and some parking lots are owned by the city you reside in.

Check with local office for zoning codes. If it not commercial then it is not a business. Churches have different rules. I think?

Get Safty Cones and place them 10 feet a part all along your house

Try putting stuff there, like a grass pile or a trash can. Maybe if you have a large tree log or a nice statue. Just try to occupy the space somehow.
