  1. well if you want to lose weight and get toned you should run at least an hour and ride bike and hour until you have lost the weight wanted then you start doing the push ups and the sit ups to get toned....on the other hand if you are doing all at once you really not going to lose the weight you are just going to build it up in muscles it happened to me i thought by just doing sit up was going to get the abs of my dreams WRONG!!! i had abs but i still had the belly then when i started to do cardio

  2. You could go to the Gym and work out. If you want to lose weight and build musles, you should go every day for a half hour to an hour or so

  3. Sounds like a plan.

I can't tell you if that will work because every single person is different in the way their body reacts to workout routines so I say try this one and if it doesnt work try another.

  4. Building up muscles requires a different kind of exercise then you describe.  In order to build the muscles you have to basically destroy them.  This is usually done by resistance training, such as lifting weights, or other resistance exercises.  By using a very high weight and low repetitions, you break down the muscle, which then using a proper diet rebuilds itself, adding a bit more muscle so next time it can handle more weight.  "Being Sore" is the muscles repairing themselves.

While building muscles, you do not want to be losing weight.  You should in fact be gaining weight.  If you are overweight, you may attempt to maintain your weight or not gain very quickly.  Muscle mass weighs more than fat mass, so a person who is 6' tall and weighs 200 lbs can be thin and muscular, or big and fat.

Once the muscles are built, you then do exercise like you are describing to burn fat (calories).  More mass means more calories burned, and muscle mass burns calories much faster then fat mass.

  5. maybe lift a few weights too and make sure you do it everyday as a routine, sure

  6. Yes, but dont over exert yourself also make sure your eating plenty of fuits and veggies, protein, and carbs because that helps build muscle. I t would be smart to join a gym, but if you cant afford it make sure you google to see if there is a particular workout plan to do if your training for a sport. Remember that with dieting you have to do it healthy otherwise you can hurt your body rather than help it. And if you do get to where you wanna be dont slack off keep trying to stay at the same weight your are at...

  7. Yes, also eat healthy.  I use to weigh 160, and I stopped eating junk food.  After two months I lost 20 pounds.  Now I use this: http://www.scribd.com/doc/261581/ARMY-US... and I weigh 180, all muscle.  Don't do exactly everything in the manual though, you might get hurt.  Just try a few things and slow down.

  8. You'll build muscles, and lose weight.

Just make sure that you lose weight while you build the muscles. Sometimes, people don't lose weight as fast as they gain muscle. So they end up with all this muscle covered with fat, and look really bulky.
