Type in the first letter of whatever you're trying to delete, right click it in the drop down bar, and delete it. It should be permantely deleted after that

You must've visited p**n site and dont want your parents to see. That or your girlfriend/boyfriend. Theres no way to erase the URL history, however you can press "CRTL H" on your key board, and then clear the history for that day.

If you're on Internet Explorer, go to tools, Internet options (way on bottom), General, then down at the bottom it should say "history" and "days to keep history ___ days ... Fill that into 0, and also to the right of that hit "clear history and you're all set!

Firefox- Tools, options, privacy, then one of the squares you could check/not check says "remember visited pages for __ days" and you could put 0 or just un-check the box!

Oh, and this will not only take care of the stuff you want deleted NOW, but it should not save any websites you've looked at once you close you internet explorer/firefox after a visit :)

Clear your history in your web browser. For Firefox and Internet Explorer go to Tools. In Firefox it's "clear private data." In Internet Explorer 6 it's under "Internet Options."

if there is any text in the search bar...backspace it all...then type any letter you want..like "j" and then you should get the options to "clear recent searches" or "remember searches" atleast thats how it is on my computer.

click the bar then hover your mouse over the first entry then press the Del Key. Not Backspace.
