How can i get rid of a bad odour coming out of my fridge? it's caused by some spinach i know that much :S ?

OK so my mom decided to cut the stuff for making spinach but she hasn't made it yet..she put it in the fridge because we use the spinach to make something else..so its not cooked, its raw..and IT STINKS! :(

i Don't know what to do, baking soda won't cover it but ill try

any home remedies? or other suggestions?

after getting rid of the spinach, wash the frig with a baking soda solution then stuff newspapers  or put a dish full of used coffee grounds in it. Those are the instructions for RV refrigerators when we forget to leave the door open when the RV is in storage. Good luck

peel a potato, cut it in half put one half in front and the other in the back of the fridge and that should do the trick.

If you drink coffee you can put your used grounds in an open container and leave them in your fridge. They stay fresh and smell great until they dry out. Then just replace them with the next batch if you desire. This trick works great!

If you don't drink coffee, pour a glass of milk and put it in the fridge. It will also absorb the odors. Just don't drink it after you set it open in the fridge. It makes it taste bad.

I have also had a bad problem with a fridge. Wipe it out with a vanilla soaked cloth and if possible leave it off and open for a time. Another idea that worked was scrunching up pages of the newspaper and leaving them in there. The ink absorbs the smell. Strange but true it worked for me and my problem was defrosted fish!

Pour about an inch of plain white vinegar into a shallow dish and place it next to the offending spinach.

i usually clean my fridge out with soap and water or little bleach and water and it smells great good luck
