How can i get rid of a bad shaving rash?

Question

Every time i shave my legs i get a red pimply rash which lingers for days, how can i prevent / treat it?

Its not my razor as i have used many types to see if this is the cause and i have tried many shaving creams and gels to help but nothing seems to work!

I've had the same problem. Even if you're using shaving gel, it seems as your skin is too dry. Because your legs are irrated, do not shave for a while. I had to wait a little more than a month before it was OK again. Make sure you put moisturizing lotion on daily and before you shave wash your legs with soap and let the shaving gel kick in. What I personally do is while my legs are still a little wet, I apply a little lotion before I put on the shaving cream.

Yes, you'll have hairy legs for a while, but I promise it's worth it. I don't have the rash at all anymore as long as I moisturize properly.
