How can i get rid of cat smell from my house?

Question

sometimes when my sister comes from college she says the house smells like cats. as i am at home all day at the moment, i dont notice.

how can i get rid of it? any ideas except air freshners??

is there some sort of rose water perfume i could make for everyday use t5o spray around the house? i want something delicate, not strong.

I have 1 kittens at the moment

Maybe getting your carpets cleaned would help?  Furniture too.  Anything soft is likely to absorb odors.

I've noticed litter-box odors at other people's houses too.  It isn't from bad housekeeping, it just happens.

Well ,send the cat to a relative for some weeks /months and see what your sister says then.?

Open windows ,doors during the day, every day.
