  1. Frontline is the best

  2. Try Frontline. We use that on all 3 of our cats and it pretty much kills the fleas straight away. Also wash are beading and areas they like to lurk in and use flea powder. If this still doesn't work then I would go to the vets. You may have stumbled across a new breed of super flea!

  3. To be honest if your Cat is outdoors a lot roaming around it is going to be hard to keep the fleas off him/her!

Think that migth be the reason why the flea collor and spot on lotions arent working!

    Good Luck!

  4. spot on  for cats . does the trick with my cat :):)

  5. You need to treat all the surfaces as well. Also get a flea comb and comb every day. I dip my comb in really hot water if i find a flea on it. It killes em and stops them pinging about.

  6. I really would recommend the vets. They will precribe your cat with frontline and its great stuff. it will get rid of the fleas and if you maintain the treatments which I think are six monthly then it will prevent him getting them again,

Lavander oil mixed with some water in a little spray bottle will work wonders for flea bites on your legs and body. You need to wash everything at a really high temperature and get them out of your carpets as well otherwise they will live in there for months and months

  7. submerge cat in warm water for about 3 days that should shift the fleas!.

  8. Spot on, but not the type you buy over the counter - only from vets with prescription.

  9. You can buy a flea powder. I also suggest you buy a household flea spray too and spray all around the edges of the carpets, where they can get.

  10. Your cat is probably getting re-infested each time because you also need to treat the furniture, curtains and all bedding in your home with special spray as flea eggs can linger in these places, I use Vetkem acclaim and it seems very useful in helping to keep the fleas from my cats.

  11. You also need to treat your whole house, wherever the cat goes. The fleas dont just live on the cat, they will be in the carpet and on furnishings as well.

  12. cat flea spot is best from any supermarket also get a spray to kill the eggs in the carpet

  13. You can buy Capstar and Frontline Plus at drsfostersmith.com . The Capstar will kill all the fleas on your cat almost instantly and the frontline will prevent re-infestation. Use the Capstar right away. It will kill all fleas on your cat with in an hour. It is imperative that you do not skip this. Frontline (or advantage, revolution, promeris, etc.) is only effective if the flea bites the cat. Fleas have a 3 week lifespan and only feed for a few days of those three weeks, so you must use Capstar to kill all live fleas on your cat. After you Capstar add on the Frontline Plus and it will keep fleas off your cat for 30 days. Any eggs that hatch will be killed when they feed by the Frontline. Refrontline every 30 days. No vet visit required and totally safe.

Frontline contains fipronil, which spreads via the body oils killing fleas within 24 hours and ticks within 48 hours. Ticks are generally killed before they bite, decreasing the risk of tick-borne disease transmission. Approved for use on kittens 8 weeks and older.

Frontline Plus also contains (S)-methoprene, an Insect Growth Regulator, which prevents an insect from maturing or reproducing. Approved for use on kittens 8 weeks and older.

You can use FRONTLINE flea and tick control once a month and it's completely waterproof. Provide your cat with the best flea and tick protection, right from the start.

Capstar - Treats flea infestations on pets. Starts killing adult fleas on the pet within 30 minutes. One dose lasts 24 hours. Use when pets are likely to be exposed to fleas. Also may be used prior to surgery, boarding, or grooming. Active ingredient is Nitenpyram, which interferes with the normal nerve transmission of insects, effectively killing them. Not a preventive. For pets over four weeks of age. Package of 6.

  14. Frontline spray or spot-on.

  15. IMO, Revolution is the besttttt!!!  It also gets rid of worms.  Your cats can get worms from eating the fleas.  YUCK!
