  1. I had that problem as well mine was caused by the fact that I was using the lights in the tanks for my personal use you know, had them on all day so i could see my fish but because I had artificial sun light light it was like leaving it out in the sun and this encourages the growth of plants now if you dont have that many bio plants then it is even more likely the algae would grow, but even if you do have a lot of bio plants too much light would promote the growth of algae try to get a blind of your windows or move the tank and control the light amount yourself with artificial lights

  2. put the tank under shade...maybe that wll prevent it from growing so fast!go to a losal petstore and ask how to get it clean and stay clean.

  3. a uv sterilizer for ponds, and perhaps some oatstraw, may help clear your water.

  4. get algae eater fish from your local pet store.

  5. That is a huge tank, but sadly I have no answer for you, but I would like to know its dimensions!

  6. either find a way to block out the light, or get yourself a uv filter.  usually these are sold for ponds, but can be adapted for large tanks such as yours.

uv lights can be expensive to buy, but they will keep your water clear of algae and any other parasite that lives in the water.

    !! good luck !!
