How can i get rid of lettering from the back of a rugby shirt?

Basicly i am wanting to get my favourite Rugby player's name on the back of my shirt, but the problem is he leaves at the end of this season and i want to know is they a way to get rid of the lettering when hes gone? because i really want this name on it, and the shirt stays the same design till 2010!

  1. If you wash it enough times it will start to peel and once its started its easy enough to get the rest off yourself, will look at bit discoloured at first but shouldn't be able to tell after several washes.

  2. Kia Ora Bro, I know where you are coming from bro, it's bloody hard to get a new shirt each year when you are on the dole bro. The best way is to keep an eye on the washing lines at night bro.

  3. I get a new jersey every year for the team I play for and with regular washes the numbers come off over time which rather annoys me...if you turn it inside out and iron it that will speed it up a bit.

  4. hi, try repeatedly ironing it or keep putting in a tumble dryer but it may shrink. did this myself but not on purpose.
