  1. If you're looking for a way to get rid of mice without hurting them, there are a couple ways to catch them - one's a do it yourself method and the other is to purchase a live catch mouse trap.

Some people have reported success using the do it yourself method.  It involves the use of a bucket, a ramp or stair step, and bait.  You essentially set up a bucket and construct a ramp to the top.  You apply peanut butter to the inside just out of reach from the rim and also at the bottom of the bucket which (in theory) causes the mouse to fall in.  You can then take the bucket and release the mouse far away from your home (if you do it too close they will come back - they have a keen sense of smell that acts as a sort of homing device - i.e. your home!).

The other method is to purchase a live catch mouse trap which you should be able to find at a local store or online.  One such trap is the wire cage that has a funnel hole on top with bait on the inside... the shape encourages the mouse to get in, but doesn't allow the mouse to get out.  There are also box traps that should be able to do the trick.

A final method that I've heard work though your mileage may vary is the use of peppermint oil.  Essentially you spread it throughout your house where the mice are thought to be and the smell is too strong for their sensitive noses and they in essence stay away.

All of these options and other mice deterrents are outlined in the source site I've listed below.

    Hope this Helps!  Good Luck!

  7. I have recently found a product that uses sonar to clear an particular area of mice.  I don't know how well it works but it might be worth a shot if your concerned about the well being of the mice.  You can find this product at any home improvement store like Lowe's or home depot.

  8. Plug ins for rodents buy them at Ace any hardware store even walmart. They work great.

  9. theres a special trap that you put food inside and it when it enters the little round trap the door closes and you can release it outside and it might be at walmart or something :D

  10. you can by a humane trap, most pet stores carry them and then relocate the mice, but  I have tried this with little sucess, and almost instant sucess with the snap traps

  14. a trail of cheese that leads out of the house

  15. Most DIY/home stores sell "live capture" mousetraps, which have a scented (but harmless) bait and a one-way door into a holding area.

I bought one when we had mice in our garage, and it caught 7 mice over two nights, which I released unharmed into woodland several miles away, to prevent their return.

If you're in the UK, check out B&Q - that's where mine came from, and it worked great.

  16. You can use humane mouse traps. Here's a link of one you can make. http://www.humanemousetrap.info/

  18. cant. unless your able to catch them by hand and throw them out. even then they can still find their way back in.

nowadays they have, poison, traps, and glue. all are effective

  19. use a bomb!  blow up the house and kill all the mice.  Become a mouse terrorist.

  20. nuke the house

  21. You can buy humane traps that just close the mouse in the trap and then you can take it outside and release the mouse.  There are also ultrasonic devices that are supposed to make mice leave your home but I've never tried that one.

  22. a classic rabbit trap with a piece of cheese :-) lol prop a box up with a stick and tie some string around the stick... put the cheese under the box and wait lol...

  23. Live-trapping is so cruel, and just STUPID.  What do you do with the mouse, once you've trapped it?  Put it outside, so it can come back in again the same way?  Put it in unfamiliar territory, so that it's in some other mouse's territory, and has to deal with unfamiliar predators?  I think it might be kinder to give it to a cat to play with! I think poison is cruel, but not as cruel as live-trapping.

Keeping a clean house is important. Last year there must have been some sort of peak in mouse population.  I will not tolerate mouse droppings on my cooking surfaces.

The considered choice I made was an old-fashioned quick-kill mousetrap.  Perhaps it was projection: I would rather die quickly than in prolonged distress and agony. I spared my own sensitivities by throwing away each trap as used. On these occasions, I choose not to recycle the trap.

This year, I have the good fortune to have a weasel nesting by my house. It kills, efficiently, in order to live.

  24. They have trps where you can catch them and release them some where far from home. Poisoning them is never a good idea because how do you plan to find them? Gross thinking about leaving them all around your house dead. If you aren't worried about them living or being hurt then try the sticky traps or the snap traps.

  25. cats are extremely cruel to mice..they will hurt them bad. im pretty sure there are detectors u can get that u plug in, and the sound or something makes the mice want to leave..if not that..then just get them ona  sticky pad and throw it outside somewhere..not much else u can do..

  26. poison them

  27. You can buy those little box mouse traps at grocery stores and pharmacies.

They get stuck in the box and then you take them out somewhere and let them go.

  28. you cant...

  29. They have humane traps at a lot of stores. You can't really "get rid" of them without hurting them.

  30. kill em quick

  31. live traps.u have to check them frequently or they die within a day or so.
