How can i get rid of this pain??

I am getting tired of receiving this message constantly:

"Message from DIGI to WORKGROUP on (time and date)::: MY god!!! Some one killed the ChineseHacker-2 Monitor"

I get this message everytime i get connected to my ISP and this makes my PC to run really slow.

I am using AVAST antivirus software and its virus definations are always updated. I am also using Ad-Aware to protect my PC from other malicious programs and spywares. But nothing seems to work!! I dont have any idea about how to get rid of this problem.

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Download the free version of Superantispyware. http://www.superantispyware.com  Update and run and in depth scan.

Somebody is obviously using the net send command to harass you.

What you need to do is disable net send messages by following these steps

Go to control panel. Click performance and maintanence.(some windows OS won't have the performance and maintanance icon if you don't have performance and maintanance just click administrative tools)  Click administrative tools. Double click services. Scroll and highlight "messenger service". Right click "messenger service" and click "properties". Then click the stop button. Under "startup type" select "manual". Then click apply then ok. Also enable a firewall when your done and scan for spyware and viruses just to be on the safe side.

Get your windows updated, download kaspersky free version, go to safe mode,  scan with kaspersky, then uninstall since it wants to uninstall other scanning softwares.

Disconnect from the Internet.

Get a firewall set up.

( Windows Firewall which comes for free in XP-SP2 is fine)

If SP2 is not installed, install it.

Install a good Anti-virus program and keep it updated.

Run a virus scan.

Visit Windows Update and pick up all the critical updates since SP2.
