  1. Places like GoodWill or The Salvation Army will actually sell clothes to anyone that will buy them, but they turn around and take all the profits and use them for support programs for the poor. So they take the money they'd make from selling your clothes and purchase new clothes, food, housing, help will day care, bills, homeless shelters, ect. So donating to these places actually helps these people more than just by giving them your used clothes.

  2. Put them in a box labelled Free and put it by a dumpster.

  3. You can drop them off at the Goodwill. What we do is, we bag them up and we call the Southeastern Chapter PVA (paralyzed veterans of America). They send us a bright yellow card to tape to one of the bags. We call them 800-366-6153, and they set up a time to come by and pick it up on our front porch. Im not sure where you are located, but I bet there is something similar in your area, or you could call that number to find out. Another option is donating it to a local church.

  4. If you donate them to the Salvation Army poor people will be given them. The way they do it is when homelss folks come for help they get a certificate which entitles them to "buy" what they need.

  5. give them to salvation army..or put them up on craigslist for free..but i suggest salvation army because they will get it to the people who need it the most.

  6. This is a question you need not to ask. Give em out for charity or to the Salvation army per say and you'll give those that can't afford one the chance to look better and also put up a smile.
