Is it a camcorder or digital camera? If it's a camcorder is it a minidv? Minidvd? Analog? If it's a digital camera you can use the usb cable and the software that came with your camera or you can use a card reader. For a minidv camcorder, you need a firewire connection, for a minidvd, you have to finalize the disc with the camcorder, then convert the files using a free dvd converter program such as handbrake. For an analog camcorder you need an analog converter such as the dazzle.
