How can i get storys and poems published?

i've written many stories and poems and my nan wants to get them published where and how ??

Ask a publiser, i.e. penguin, bloomsbery etc. prehaps look for there website, write to them, then send a copy of your story or poems, go to as many as you can, as some will probably reject you, but some might acsept, then negosiate out a plan!

Get the Writers and Artists yearbook or a similar publication. They have lists of agents, publishers and magazines, and will include submission guidelines on the type of matierials they are looking for. Get used to rejection- I spent five years in the wilderness before selling my novel. BEST OF LUCK . . . it's totally worth it.

Without wishing to be rude or nasty, before you try, i suggest you spell check them first, as they won't publish poorly spelt work.
