sorry for the delay, I am busier than ever so the mills are grinding slowly - your final grade with the submission of this material is B-, I hope you are happy with that!

ok so my professor gave me a d and then changed it to a b- which is great but i wish i could have gotten a b or an a- to boost my gpa. She told me that she will look a my final paper of course but she didnt recieve it and so i was wondering should i tell her to reconsider looking at it and changing it or nah should i leave the grade as it is?????

  1. Yea i'de def. stay with the B- because thats a big jump form a D!!

  2. Take the b-, but why didn't she receive your final paper or am I confused?

  3. Personally, if I were you, I'd settle for the B-.  That's a big change from a D to a B-!  Unless you strongly feel that your paper really truly, with all of your heart and being is actually an A paper, I'd leave it be.

  4. If you think that it will increase your grade even more, then yes...but seeing the jump that the teacher gave you, I wouldn't count on it going any higher.

  5. It isn't a teacher's responsibility to boost your GPA, it is yours.  If your work was D quality, it should have remained a D.  If It was B- quality, you should have gotten a B- in the first place.  Giving you a chance to submit extra material was unfair to other students.  She has already looked at your grade and given you more than you deserved.  Leave it alone.  She would be crazy to reconsider anything a second time.

  6. Your teacher already took a second view at your homework, which means he reread it. He changed his mind, gave you an apology and an explanation. I think he already considered he had made a mistake and gave you the grade you deserved.

Not that I think you do not deserve a B, but since he took a second look at your work  it means he had reviewed it carefully.

    better luck next time.
