well at aveda they have this peson that can do your make-up professionally. ask her how to get it to look professional when you do it yourself.. and get some of the make-up products

go to mac, pretend you want to buy stuff, tell them what colors you want to use and say that you have no idea how to use it. they will show you and explain EVERYTHING. its like a free makeup lesson ! :]
