How can i get the best quality conversion from mini dv to dvd without the speckles when watched large screen?

i wanted good dvd quality cos on the computer they look fine but on disc quality is bad

  1. it might actually be how you shot the video.

    most cams people use have a screen resolution which range in size from 720 x 480 pixels (NTSC) or 720 x 576 (PAL). these types are your standard handycam.

    you can also use a digital stills cam to shoot video (in video mode) but the res is lower (like 640 x 480 or less).

    camera phones can be even smaller.

    of course when you 'project' or screen images on a larger tv (can be 1920 x 1080) you can see the images get quite distorted. if you've even downloaded something from the net and screen it on tv will show this also.

    solution would be to have a cam that suits the screen your using.

    eg - camera phone for small screen (like 12" lcd), digital stills cam for a medium screen, handycam for normal screens like old fashioned CRT screen and a hd cam for a larger LCD screen (like a full hi def 40+")
