  1. Being from Michigan, I'm not entirely sure about other state's rules, but your best bet is to first look at the title of the vehicle to see who is on it. You said the uncle co-signed for it, but yet the uncle is the MAIN person on the loan. That doesn't make sense. If the uncle truly co-signed for it, he would be listed as a "lien holder, secondary interest, etc." on the title, and your b/f would be the PRIMARY name on the title. Whoever the PRIMARY person on the title is, is the person who is responsible to get the new plates/ tags/ etc. So, whoever this is has to set up the new tags (uncle, b/f or whoever). Obviously visiting the DMV websites for both states should answer any questions you have, or you can call them. And, the only issue with any kind of secondary interest in the car would be when it is paid off, and you want to sell it. Then just get the uncle to sign off on it. But that only happens after it's paid off. Changing tags shouldn't be a problem at all. Good luck!

  2. You need to go to the DMV and re-register the vehicle in florida. You might need a safety inspection also an emissions test.

  3. as long as ownership is not being changed, you can license it on the moon if you can get there
