There are McDonald's in India though they don't serve hamburger--cows being sacred.  They sell the chicken stuff.  I doubt they're all company-owned, which is to say you could probably buy a franchise there.  Get in touch with McDonald's directly to find out.  I would think there'd be better locations--many Hindus are vegetarian and won't even eat the chicken.
