How can i get the "fake alert" Trojan off my computer?

my sister got this trojen on both her computers at the same time!!  We cannot figure out how to get it off. On the desk top it shows a huge warning sign, and wont go away. We have found out enough information to know its a trojan, yet we still cannot figure out how to get it off the computer. It some how bypassed the internet security systenm she has on both computers, if anyone knows nething about this and how to get it off plz help us. We have been working on getting it off for 3 days now with no luck. Please help!!

Instead of all these things why not install Spybot-Search&Destroy, update its definitions and run a scan on your computer. It scans for adwares, spywares and trojans and eliminates them using its secure shredder. it is a freeware and lite on the system's memory.It will remove the fake trojan from the system.

I had a Trojan.Fake.Alert along time ago when I had Webroot Spysweeper and Norton Anti-Virus installed on my computer   these two programs couldn't even find the Trojan let alone remove it.  The only thing that found the Trojan was SPYWARE DOCTOR it found it and quarantined it in about 5 minutes while it was scanning.  So go out and buy Spyware Doctor.
