How can i get the search box to not keep past internet search words?

For Internet Explorer:Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

For the yahoo search box, click on toolbar settings (avatar) select Clear recent searches..Good Luck..

Click tools above and enter inet options. Use the clear history tab. Set the days to save history number to zero.

i think new yahoo search toolbar have a function remove history tracks

Go to tools, internet options, content, look under personal information, click on auto complete, and uncheck what you don't want saved
