How can i get the smell out of a body spray pump?

i have this one body sprey that i dropped and the pump where you press it and the spray comes out broke. so i wanna use a different one from a different body spray so how do i get all the smell out of it?

Fill your sink with warm water and hand soap. Place the pump inside. Press on the top (the part that releases the spray) and pump the warm water and soap through the spray top. Keep doing this several times. This will clean out the "straw" that sucks the perfume into the spray top. Good luck!
