How can i get there when the train tickets are sold out?

i have to get from palatka, florida to philadelphia, pa. it's an emergency. but the train tickets are all sold out. if i call amtrak will they be able to help at all?

You can try but u should also go online and order grey hound tickets

Look into getting a ticket from palatka, florida to another destination in or near Pa. then from there to philadelphia, pa.

why not fly you say its an emergency and train is not the fastest way to get someone (sometimes its the slowest!)

but to get back to your question you could call amtrak to see if they are any cancellations

I'm sure plenty of airlines have available seats. If not rent a car. ..
