  2. Listen to the people who are saying get the number 500 bus. They are correct.

Alternately, you could take the 80A bus (every 7-8 minutes on Monday to Saturday daytime, every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday evening and on Sundays), or the 86A bus (every 5 minutes Monday to Saturday daytime, every 10 minutes Monday to Saturday evening, and all day Sunday) from the airport to Liverpool South Parkway railway station, from where you can get a train to Lime Street, or you may be able to catch a train to e.g. Runcorn, Crewe, or Birmingham, and not need to go into Lime Street!
