Have a look on sncf.com for train timetables and fares.

There doesn't seem to be a direct train, you'd have to change once, and it would take you between 2 1/2 hours and 3 hours. Adult fare is approx. 20 euros.

If you're driving, Chamonix is about 2 hour away from Geneve (83km). Have a look on there for itinerary:

i dont know. have you checked the trains? or bus? travel in france and switzerland is easy. trains are excellent and not expensive.
