How can i get to "Cuatro Ciénegas" in Mexico??

If i want to travel El Paso, TX to Cuatro Ciénegas in Mexico - the most beautiful and clearest lake in the middle of desert, what is the best way to get there??

by airplane OR by car??

You can get a flight from Ciudad Juárez to Monterrey and fromt there its a 5-6 hour trip to Cuatro Cienegas de Carranza in de Coahuila State.

Torreón has an airport so maybe you can take a flight from Ciudad Juárez to Torreón, (Torreón its a 3 hours distance from Cutaro Cienegas)

By car from El paso its about 1,000 kilometers (10-12 hours trip by car (Ciudad Juárez- Chihuahua- Torreón- Cuatro Cienegas)

Best way to get there is by entering Mexico through Eagle Pass/Piedras Negras [stateof Coahuila]...once you cross border checkpoint continue past Nava and Allende on highway 57 until you get to the town of Rosita, if I'm not mistaken you can go westward from there or drive on until you get to the industrial city of Monclova, then go westward into the Coahuila desert [I'm not exact on the specifics] but I do know that you will have a much harder time if you enter through El Paso/Juarez...you will have to go through much of the state of Chihuahua [and it is a large state] lots and lots of desert and mountains and two lane roads and what not --and after Juarez I think you would only see 2 moderately populated towns: Delicias and Jimenez....but you are correct, it is beautiful and transparent...also I think there are hot springs nearby.
