How can i get tv programs on my DVR onto my computer?

Star choice. dvr550.... or something like that... i know its a 550. i have the entire flight of the conchords series recorded and i want to put it on my ipod. Help?

  1. You either need a tuner for the computer or

    DVD recorder

    then something like Handbrake to decode the movie

    then 4 + hours to convert

    then it can go to the iPod.
