ok, so this might sound stupid but i'm not exactly sure how this works. so i know there are wifi cards that people get for laptops that don't have wifi in them, but i have a newer toshiba and it has wifi. i'm just wondering if there is a way to get internet on my laptop in the car and on the go. i've heard theres a card so that you basically get internet everywhere you go. if it helps, i'm a verizon customer. can someone at least give me a link to a card like this with rates and such information? thanks, best and most comprehensive answer gets the ten points :)

  2. Here you go.  And I'm impressed with the prices.  I might switch myself.    : P  http://b2b.vzw.com/broadband/bbapccard.h...

  3. http://b2b.vzw.com/broadband/bbapccard.h... Is the info for the Verizon Wireless broadband service and the plans start at $40 and go to $60. The card for the computer starts at $50 and goes up which you get when you go through the ordering process.  I would go with the 5 GB limit plan ($60) just so you do not go over your limit and get charged a huge amount.  I think that Sprint offers a similar service except faster and it is unlimited data for same price.

  4. You would have to live in an area where a company broadcasts a wide area signal.
