How can i get yahoo to display my web site?

I want them to scan it, google is already displaying it in their search engines, so how do i speed Yahoo up?

The best way to be listed on sites is to register your site with each of the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, Ask, Windows Live).  Just search for "Register a website with <<insert search engine here>>".  That will give you all the info you need to know.

After that, just wait.  Each search engine will send out it's little scripts to index all the pages in it's database, gather the information it needs and update it's index.  Might take a while.  But worth it in the end.

If you have already registered your site, forget what I just said.

I must add that you don't need an account with the search engine to register your site.  It just lists the site in the index database, is all.

Post links to your website all over the web. This means Yahoo's crawlers are more likely to find your website if it's in more places. You can post it in forums, on here, social networking sites (StumbleUpon, Digg, Delicious, Facebook, Myspace). All these methods will increase traffic.
