  1. Hi,

Fact that you looking for volume you feel your hair is flat and for me you need to get to the root of the problem. If you cure hair follicles your hair will automatically have volume and shine and to strengthen hair follicles you need to look for external and internal treatment. For internal look up a website www.ziravie.com they have a chart of fruits and vegetables which when followed gives great results in terms of hair and health and the lotion which you can buy on ebay.co.uk and the ID is hair-treatment makes the hair soft, silky and with great volume.

  2. Try teasing your hair :)

it's basically when you comb backwards on a section of your hair. You can add some hair spray and neaten it out so it doesn't look so messy.

  3. Do you part your hair? What I do, is that I get out of the shower, and I pin my already parted hair to the sides (If that makes sense). Then I wait for my hair to dry or you could blow dry it. When it's dry I RE part my hair to the other side of my hair. (Before the shower, ex: I part my hair right, then I part my hair to the left). After that you hairspray it. I get really nice volume and I always get complimented on my hair now.

You could tease your hair as well, with a ratcomb.

  4. Hey =]

My hair is curly and v. long. It too is layered. Follow these tips to get great volume, whether your hair is wavy, curly or straight.

    - Brush your hair BEFORE you hop in the shower. Don't brush it when it's wet: it stretches the hair down from the roots, flattens it and breaks the strands.

    - If you blow-dry, or blow-dry the top of your head, have your head upside down when blow-drying. Focus on the roots. When it's dry, flip your head right side up and you'll notice that there is much more volume. You can hairspray it to keep the look.

    - If you have bangs, spray the roots of them with hairspray. It'll keep them a little suspended above your forehead.

    Love,

    Mimi

  5. mousse and a root lifter can do wonders!  I would recommend Garnier (cheaper) or Paul Mitchell (salon) products
