How can i give my room a new look?

I'm a girl and my room is boring

i really want to paint the wall but that would be a waste because it would take alot of work and I don't know how much longer ill be living there

and I don't want to just move the furniture around

what can i do to give my room a new vibe while only spending like $30.

Paint.  Its cheap and changes a room completely.  Its really not that much work.  Maybe just one wall as an accent.
