How can i go faster on a bike if there is wind blowing to make me slow down?

I have to cycle to and from school every day and its a long way. About 8 km

  1. You just need to work a little harder- you don't get fit without putting in the hard graft.

  3. That's easy.  Just turn around and ride in the opposite direction.

  4. Hey, Ive had that same problem, not the same distance though,

    The best way, ride like an old man, get your chest really close to the bars with your elbows up, then push hard on the pedals, you get less wind resistance and more range to your pedaling.  Another thing I have found is that alley ways are far less windy.

  5. go down in the drops and try to be as aerodynamic as possible. pedal at a higher cadence so you wont get as tired from the wind resistance. you wont be able to tell the difference at first but you'll deff. notice your not as tired at the end of school.
