How can i go from Dhaka to Shimla and what will be the approximate time and cost?

I would like to travel from Dhaka to Shimla and I do not want to spend a lot of time travelling. So, it will be helpful if I find the quickest route to Shimla. However, I do not want to spend a lot as well

Come down to Kolkata first - buses & flight available.

From Kolkata you can have plenty of route options. You can either go to Delhi, and from Delhi you can go to Shimla (approx distance from Delhi - 360 kms). Or you can go to Chandigarh and then move to Shimla (approx distance from Chandigarh: 120 kms). Several trains & flight are available for Chandigarh & Delhi from Kolkata. The nearest airport to Shimla is Jubbarhatti (12kms from city), but I'm not very sure about the flight availabilities from Kolkata or Delhi. You have to check the resp. flight details for it. Shimla is well connected by road from Delhi & Chandigarh. You can either hire a car from there for Shimla, or you can travel by bus. Traveling by bus will of course be cheaper. All hotels, Rail/Flight tickets can be booked well in advance. Bus/Car bookings are best done on the spot.
