How can i go to Ratnagiri from Bangalore? is there any direct bus ? If not, what is the shortest route? ?

I don't think there is any direct bus from Bangalore. There might be buses from Goa, who knows !!

Ratnagiri is accessible from Goa easily(abtout 250 KM).There are so many trains to Ratnagiri from Madgaon.

You  have to reach Madgaon(Goa) either by bus or by train. You should prefer bus as there are only couple of trains running 3 days a week.
