How can i grow weed? (marijuana)?

I live in southside chicago, good sunlight, i would just like to plant some seeds and let them grow in a pot, can i do that?

and if so what kind of seeds and how long would it take to grow?

It will work for the seedling stage, until it starts craving nutes at about 6 weeks old.

You'll end up with a horrible Magnesium deficiency or a Ph problem unless you mix up a correct soil medium, trust me, this is very common when people don't know how difficult it can be to grow pot.

But have no fear! Certain strains only need a tiny amount of nutrients and will grow perfectly fine in top soil. It takes anywhere from 8 weeks to 10 months for it to grow, but it all depends on the species, strain and environment.

Hey man i live north of chicago.

You want a spot that receives the most hours of sunlight possible.

You can grow in a pot just make sure its pretty good sized.

at least 12'' wide or more, bigger pots are better for the roots.

Use some Top Soil, very cheap good soil.

1)buy some seeds or just snag a few from some shwagg (assuming) your an accasual smoker then set them in water by a window for a few days and once the have sprouted plant in moist soil and water daily and groom and trim and in five months youll have a plant ready to pluck dry and enjoy or sell oh and spray you plant in a spray bottle on the ****** mist setting full of club soda to keep away spider mites and lady bugs and such good luck
