How can i hack the save file on my NDS pokemon diamond game?

basically what i am asking is if there is a way to somehow get my pokemon save file from my NDS onto my computer, and alter it on my computer, then load it onto my Pokemon Diamond on my NDS, if so, what programs are required and where can i get them.

The most simple and safe way to hack Pokemon Diamond is to get your hands on a cheat device. I recommend Action Replay since they have safer devices that are less prone to crash a game. Keep in mind that no cheating device is EVER liscensed by a gaming company and that there is a slight if almost non-existent chance that the device could ruin your save file.

an R4, M3 or other flashcart for the nintendo ds allows you access to your .sav on your computer.  It saves it to a micro SD card and comes with a usb reader.  Once you have the .sav on your computer several programs are made just for the purpose of hacking it such as pokesav, etc.
