See i am getting married in October and we each have one person on our side to stand up for us, his sister is my Maid of honor and his cousin is his Best man, but he has another little sister that really want to be in the wedding and i think i may have hurt her feelings. we are having a small wedding mostly his family (mine is to far away to make it) and well other then the Maid of Honor and the best man we have our two kids too! that is it. our daughter is the flower girl and our son the ring bear. His other sister is 16 if that helps out any. I just want to know if there is any way i can have her in it too? I thought we coul dahve her pull the kids in a wagon, but then i thought that would be degreating to her. HELP!

  1. She could be your junior bridesmaid or an usher/ hostess. I guess thats what you call a girl usher. anyways she could help seat people and she can always stand where people sign in at the guestbook table and either hand out programs or rice bags. I dont think that is a bad job. you can just ask her if she wants to do it and tell her that is all that is open and if she doesent want to do it then oh well. But you should try to include her somehow. Hope I helped and congrats!!!

  2. you can have the 16 year old sister walkthe flower girl down the aisle...  keeps the flower girl entertained and on course (not sure how old the flower girl is)

    good luck

  3. Are you having any readings?  She could be a reader.  Or you could make her the "hostess" which means she greets people at the weddings, gives programs, helps seat, etc.

Just, please do not make her a guest book attendant.  That is not a job anyone wants or feels good about.

  4. There's always Junior Bridesmaid.  She can have a dress similar to your MOH (maybe in a lighter version of the same color, or a different one of your wedding colors) and a smaller version of your MOH's bouquet, or perhaps just one flower (a rose, for example), that figures prominently in the bouquets.

Pulling a wagon is weird... it's like she's the babysitter for the day or something.  Good luck!
