  1. Your setter should be able to set the ball no matter where it is, otherwise she shouldn't be a setter. I know my team gave me some rough passes, but if you need to climb on people in the stands to set it, that's what you have to do. Passing the ball correctly up to 2 1/2 where your setter wants to be would probably help out her and the rest of your team. Cause who wants to hit a set that's coming from behind them, especially when you haven't nailed back row attacks yet.

  2. There are differnt ways you can set up the players in the game to play volleyball successfully. It sounds like your running a 5-1. This is 1 setter and 5 players that act as hitters. In this formation you usually have the setter go through the regular rotation, but after the ball is served have him/ her go to the middle/ front of the net. The question isn't how to get the ball to the setter, the setter's job is to follow the ball whatever the cost to set a player on the team. Sometimes they must chase the 2nd ball for a good hit. So again, the question isn't how to get the ball the setter, the setter NEEDS to get the ball. Hope that helps.

  3. I would say that a 5-1 works the best if you want too have your setter in the middle.  google in 5-1 volleyball and links should come up. good luck

  4. 5-1 works best

  5. If you're talking about a 5-1 (which I think you are) then their base is always at 2 (if you know what that means, otherwise it's inbetween the middle hitter & the left hitter a couple steps off the 10 ft. line)

  6. well there are diff. plays u can do. Find 1 and do it!!!

  7. Look up the 5-1 offensive system for volleyball to find out more info.
