  1. There are probably some very good websites on this issue.  However go with her to a doctor as moral support and, if she is referred to a counsellor, see if you can attend there until she is feeling more comfortable.

  2. I would say your best option would to be contact social security and ask for some psychiatric help or maybe group therapy, being abused is not an easy thing to cope with, all you can do is try to be kind and supportive

  3. I suffered this for 6 years, I was in a women's refuge with other women all going through the same thing. We all got on really well, and could identify with each other.

My friends out of that circle however, weren't too sure how to deal with it. They lent me a shoulder to cry on and they listened when i needed to talk.

Support from you is best for your friend. Let her know that you are always there if she needs you. Attend any appointments with her, so she knows that you are there to support her.

I hope she gets better soon, i know at the moment it seems a million miles away, but with friends like you around her, she will start feeling better in no time. Good luck to you both x

  4. try these sites,

    womensaid.org.uk/domestic

    hiddenhurt.co.uk

    bbc.co.uk/domesticviolence

    supportforhope.org/domesticabuse

    sdaf.org.uk

    lgbtdomesticabuse.org.uk

hopefully you will find the info to help you help your friend, but just be there when she wants to talk or cry or get angry she needs you to be strong for her also.

its very comendable you are willing to help her.

    good luck and stay strong.

  5. I don't know any websites

but the best thing you can do is be there to support her, and  be there when she needs to talk, let her know your there anytime she needs you. Also because her self-confidence is probably not the best at the moment, complement her, and go places like spa's, and things like that, If she is willing to go out on the town get dressed up and go.
