  1. Be your caring, giving, loving self.  Start a teen hotline.  The more issues you hear, the more you'll know which you can best serve.  It could be in the department of drugs, alcohol, drinking, smoking, pregancy, prostitution, family issues, etc..  I think that's a wonderful idea you have.

  2. Start a neighborhood eco-watch.  Document and punish eco-crime.

  3. Be respectful to ALL people. By doing that, you are helping TONS!

  4. You would be better off trying to make it less worse by following the rules rather than trying to save it

  5. Do it one person at a time.  You can't save or change the whole world.  Find something that you can do well, and go volunteer that ability where it would be best used.

God uses the least person to the greatest things.  Look at Moses (a shepherd), David (a shepherd), Billy Graham (milked his dad's cows).

  6. I would advise teens to become involved in global current events.

It wasn't too long ago that it took the news a week or more to travel around the world.  Well that's long past and presently, what happens in Asia, Europe and the Middle East is only as far away as the computer!  You might not realize it, but what is happening worldwide today, will have a real affect on you during your lifetime.

Learn about our government and its stand on international relations. You will, as time goes by, pick up some of the history behind the various countries and will draw your own conclusions.

When it comes time for you to vote for your candidates for local office, you will have a better understanding of how you want to vote and where you stand.

It's so important!  When young people leave the voting up to the older folks, then the young people have to live by the (older) voters decisions. Then the old people die off and you are still living by their rules!

So I would advise you to get involved in current events because this is YOUR world and you need to let your representatives know what you want.
