How can i help out in Guatemala?

I recently saw a slide show about a couple of girls that traveled to Guatemala. It really inspired me and now i want to go there to help out as well. Does anyone know where i could find information about this?

The Peace Corp offers some great opportunities.  If you can find some responsible charities who are truly looking to improve the state of the people, fundraisers are a good idea to send them money and resources.  They are in great need of a lot of things.  Education, teen pregnancies, malnutrition, etc.  Money is important to help programs that are combating these problems.

  3. Buy guatemalan products.   Visit Guatemala and spend your foreign money in the country.    Tell everybody else about Guatemala.  It's beautiful.

    Unfortunately I don't know any places when you can get info, but... why don't you try to find a ONG? in the Guatemalan Embassy you can get this kind of info...
