  1. Stop kicking them when you see them.

No, seriously, the best choice is Big Brothers/Big Sisters. You'd be doing a kid a big favor by just hanging with him/her and showing them the world, sharing your knowledge, and providing some moral support.

  2. well first off be supportive show them that you are there for them. be more "take action " in the way you approach them whether it be saying hey this is wrong or right and don't be afraid to show them . teach them that not everyone has turned their backs and that you want them to know that your there if they need to talk or whatever. i work with homeless and less fortunate families in Columbus Ohio and i have noticed that even talking to some of them people that they can trust me because i take chances and i show them that i care. i think the idea you have is very very cool not a lot of people want to take the time and try to help someone other than themselves and that's just sad really.

try that out and see if it helps find shelters for kids and underprivileged families and start volunteering your time. you might just be able to help someone or even save a life.

    take care

  5. The school district in my community has a program called "Lunch Buddies". You get a child and have lunch with them once a week. You have an hour and a half to spend with them. You can let them just talk or you can play games with them. You can give them a shoulder.

    Big Brothers/Sisters

    YMCA

    Boys/Girls Club

the worship facility of your choice

    a library

    coach a Little League team

    Tutor at a school

Teach English as a second language

It's great that you want to do this. I was an underprivileged child and I had some wonderful roles models that made a big impact of my life. Aren't children wonderful!
