  2. It depends where you live. You can ask at your county or city hall if they have programs, where they looking for volunteers. But you can also help yourself in small things. Don't litter. A lot of our trash is deadly for the wildlife. Buy only, what you really need, the more sold, the more produced. Use recycled good, recycle yourself.

So you see, you don't have to spend money to help the wildlife, you can even save money.

  3. Simple things to help:

    recycle

use florescent lightbulbs in your home

turn off lights, computer, other electronic devices when not in use

    don't buy overpackaged products

buy organic fruits and vegetables or other organic products

    keep domesticated cats indoors

plant native plants in your garden..plant a tree

use canvas bags for grocery shopping..not plastic

buy environmentally friendly products (seventh generation, etc.)

Put up bird houses in the spring for cavity nesting birds that have no natural cavities to nest in

Put up a bat box for insect control

  4. There is no web site that will help wildlife or planet. But if you have extra money you can pay me :).

As for the planet. You can’t do anything to help it just let the planet to take care of itself and it will heal the wounds.

I'd suggest you think a little about what issues are especially important to you, whether the rainforest or your local neighborhood, whales, wolves, or creepy crawlies, and look for an organization that works for the same cause. There is almost certain to be one, and it's website should offer volunteer opportunities, action alerts, donation information, and more.

Most electricity we get in our houses or in schools comes from electricity generating stations which use non-enviromentally friendly way. Most comes from the burning of Fossils fuels which emits pollutants and CO2, which in a massive scale can contribute to global warming. So if everybody cut down on electricity it would cut down on the emission of these pollutants.

However if the electricity supply you use is environmentally friendly such a hydroelecticity or wind or solar, then you don't need to worry about your electricity causing CO2 emissions.

One way of protecting the environment is by cutting down on the use of detergents in your home. Especialy if your sewage isn't treated. Like if you live in the country side and your sewage is treated by your septic tank. When you use lots of strong detergents such a toilet cleaner this is washed into your septic tank, not only is it bad for you septic tank it can be releaced into the environment and can bevery bad for the environment.

If you have a garden, especialy if you live in a town, you should try to leave a small area of you garden for the wild life. Maybe a bush with some long grass for insects and birds to live in.

There are many pollutants we all add to the environment, such as deodarants and cars we should try and cut down on the use of these to try to lessen our impact on the environment.

The earth in general is a different story. The earth has been through a lot worse than its going through now. Huge earthquake, impacts, even collided with moon around 5 billion years ago and it survived that. The earth has seen the extinction of the dinosaurs and many other extinctions befor that, huge volcanoes and earthquakes and other global catastrophes, The earths temperature has been rising and falling by huge amounts since its beginning 4.5billion years ago. Unless we let off a huge bomb which destroys the whole earth and mankind there is very little we could do to hugely affect the earth as a whole.

But we should still try to protect our environment and the other life we share this planet with.

  10. WWF (World Wildlife Fund)

You can make donations(however much you want), "adopt" an endangered species, lots of gift ideas for friends/family etc. They are one of my favorite organizations, pretty much dedicated to preserving nature and wildlife, just check out their site to learn more.
