I don't know much about anything on this, I just want to help!

I think they need people to help build them or something, if anyone has done - or knows anyone who has - please tell me about it!

It would just be a summer sort of thing as I'm at college though.

Thanks!

  1. Hi..

I would first thank you for the wonderful heart you have, and i would encourage you to join a community service organisation where you can invest all these feelings in something bigger.

In regards of your question, i would suggest you contact religious societies as they are mostly involved in such charities. Churches, Mosques and so on.

Another very important area you should think of is the Rotary International. Its a community services includes thousands of clubs around the world that are registered as charities. You can check www.rotary.org for International, www.ribi.org for UK, or individual clubs such as http://www.rotarypr.org in London.

Let me know if you need further help about that.

  2. Don't apologise to people like matt m. i bet he does nothing to help anyone. You follow your heart and contact an organisation who help overseas. I'm sure they will be more than glad to help. My mum  and sister are currently knitting hats for Save the Children. Most of which have been sent to Tibet for new born babies.

  3. Many churches have programs that send teams to help build orphanages.  I am familiar with mission organizations that have done that in Mexico and Honduras but I'm sure that this is done in many countries. Check with your local church or if your college has a  baptist or methodist student association.

  4. you should worry about your own country before you worry about darfor and that bs

  5. Contact volunteer websites
